A bitty buggy break

I took a break yesterday from the general hullabaloo that is my life and made a little woolly caterpillar for the wee lass, baby E. I used wool roving to make the body segments, each is a little felted ball, and then sewed them all together securely, knotting them between each segment. I presented the little grub to E and she immediately hoisted it to her mouth and gummed him half to death. nom nom nom

  5. Baby E is growing up so fast! She is adorable! The caterpillar is great...in all of your free time, you should make some to add to your etsy shop. Free Time? What's That?

  6. What a great idea! Baby E looks so happy to have him - I wouldn't dare try and pick him up for a closer look the way she's got a grip on him!

    Lisa,

I love your blog and all the things you make. Your baby E is a baby love. I know you must be so busy with four little ones. I watch my daughter with three and am in amazement. Take care and look forward to reading your news from MN.

  10. Such a wonderful idea. And probably so much more safer than that BPA plastic that they want our kids to chew on these days! Thanks, what a cutie!
