Button Monday

I had so much fun with last week's button Monday post that I spent a little time playing again this week.  A selection of vintage beauties.  Mostly plastic with some wood, glass, and leather.

love this celluloid wafer

Don't miss the message....

Happy Monday!

  1. That is so pretty! I understand why you wouldn't want to take it apart. What a cool tree - you should try making some wall art out of your button creations...or at least turn the photos into cards. :)

  9. I love the designs you have made with your buttons. I think that sewing or glueing it down and then framing it would be AWESOME. I may have to do this with some of my vintage buttons. Thanks. :D

  15. I would love to put your button tree into a t-shirt contest at Threadless. It is a contest sponsored by Threadless and Shutterstock. If we won, I'd split the $2000G with you...and it would pull a lot of Shutterstock attention to your fabulous photography. If interested, email me (Laura Brightwood) at brightwoods3 at gmail dot com. I only have till the 20th to pull it together.

I just found your site via thechocolatemuffintree who led me to the crafty crow who led me to your button mondays, i love it. This particular piece(the tree) i loved but didnt understand what message you wanted me to see. After geography I showed my daughters 7 and 4 this picture and asked if they would like to do a craft like this and my 7yr old said "yea thats soo cool and look it says play in the middle" wow. How did she see that and i didnt...who knows but i am glad that it was in there. I wish you the best....tanya
