I have to boast a little...see that gorgeous silver and button necklace? It's mine! The talented Lynn Bowes made that for me as a thank you for sending her some vintage buttons. Can you believe it? While I'm not technically family, I am a friend and a lucky one at that, don't you think?

ReplyDeleteI usually dedicate my birth month, August, to crafting for myself. By the time I arrive to this fabulous month- I have a pretty good idea of what I want to make for myself :)
I've been busier than usual this year so I'm a little tardy... so far I've made myself a Silk Tapestry Box for a new pendulum I made last month. I hope to make myself a Silk Tapestry Medicine Pouch next week as well as recreate a special necklace that I wear when doing my readings.
Will blog about them when I'm all done :)
