He is absolutely gorgeous. Is there a felted moth in your future? p.s. I love your post about the "ducktor". It just might be the sweetest thing I have every seen.
He is beautiful! Funny I can hold a butterfly but a moth would make me nervous. I'm glad to see you're passing on a nice sense of curiosity to your children. We must get our fears from our parents and society, so good for you!
He is stunning: you know what's so neat? The markings are not perfectly symmetrical - that is surprising to me for some reason, but also strangely comforting :) xo, A
That's a moth I'd actually protect from my cats! I usually try to chase them away so they won't rattle around at night and keep me up (you can't believe how much noise a moth can make!) but sometimes they won't listen.. well my cats love moths!
aah lovely creature... owls of the 6 legged variety. Love how they make off fooling other creatures. I once had seen a moth that was the size of my hand sitting in a bush, the dog was scared to death of it... frozen in his steps, unable to move. All he could do is just look at the moth. I dont know what kind of moth it was, green with eye markings, but it was kinda dark so i am not sure. Anyway after that the dog was scared to go out after dark...lol! Glad he finally got over it. Your friend here is very lovely sunny yellow. Thank you for sharing! Rose~

I don't like things crawling on me, unless it's my hubby of course!! Sorry, couldn't resist...I hope you laughed...I did!! 8*)

I love seeing all the moth varieties - and wish we had some of these creatures here in Southeast Alaska... Thanks for sharing! -sus

ReplyDeleteI miss those wonderful & gorgeous large furry moths of the Midwest. Never see any here in California. They must like the humidity.
Pretty!
