a bird in the... plans

I'd like to start teaching classes at the Art Center so last night I was playing with shapes and found this little guy in my palm.  Perhaps a few songbirds will be my first project.

If you were learning needle-felting, what sorts of projects would you enjoy?

A santa face Christmas ornament! What about a deer ornament? Trying to prepare for Christmas early this year! Good luck with your teaching venture.

Cute birdie!
Personally, anything nature inspired but, birdies (songbirds especially) would be a good start!

Bears are easy and give you a sense of accomplishment when you finish. 5-way jointed ones are really fun.

Lamb, duckling, FOX (love foxes, can you tell?) mouse, goat, chicks, salamander, a chickadee, swan.

oh! I know - a dragon. Just a small one, mind you. Simple, but with wings that are as long as the body. A baby dragon would be adorable.

Hope these give you some food for thought!
