Hi Lisa-this is funny that I read your blog today. I just read a cute little book called The Gnome Project. It is about a woman trying to make time to do felting everyday and all the other things we need to do. You should get a copy of this I think you would really like it! It inspired me to do the same. So far I am on day 8 of my "I am gonna felt something everyday!" Plan. So far I have a pile of felted bracelets! I feel so much better when I get "my time" in amongst life's other crap! Good luck to you and all of us trying to squeeze in the "my time". looks like you are off to a great start! Happy felting and stitching to you!
Good for you! It's hard to get everything done, I definitely know how you feel. My art gets squashed in a tiny corner, too, and sometimes I despair at how to make time for what nourishes me. I've resolved to get a cleaning lady for a couple of hours every two weeks, just to get the worst load off my shoulders ;-) Good luck, I'm rooting for you!

I have been following this blog for a long time, and have no idea how you sew such intricate designs into something that has a stone in the middle?

Kristy - I'll have to check out the gnome project. I'd love to see those bracelets, do you have link you can share?
martine - thank you for reading along, I'm glad you're here. Shallow stitches is the key.
Thanks for understanding, Iris. And good for you for getting help with cleaning, that's a task I wouldn't mind outsourcing myself. ;)
Thank you, thank you ladies!
Hey Lisa I don't have a link. Maybe I could send a pic!
¡¡Qué cosas tan ideales¡¡
Besos.
