I'm kind of curious about the shoe button...I'm trying to envision the article of clothing that demanded a shoe-shaped button. Hmmm.

There are such lovely creations in those simple buttons... Very poetical, those little details so essential... I sometimes regret old manufactures... Nowadays ordinary buttons are made in silly plastics instead of pretty material such as nacre ; they can be nice, of course but it is really not de same thing... Anyway, great pics...
