  3. These are lovely, Lisa!! I love the gills and everything. You are so darn good with felt and fiber of all kinds. What did you end up trying with the Pygora fiber?

  5. Thanks so much everybody. It was good to sit down and work on these yesterday. It's been a while since I've been able to work and this was just what my hands wanted to do.

Britt- I decided the Pygora was a bit out of my budget right now. I'll have to wait for a bit. I'll let you know when I do try it though. :)

  6. Fascinating! I would love to see a video of how you make these. I know you said you painstakingly needlefelted the gill felt into the cap, but I still want to SEE how you do it.

I just ordered my first needlefelting kit and am a little nervous about starting. Excited, too! You get the credit for inspiring me to try it.

  9. Denise - hooray for needlefelting! You'll love it. Stock up on band-aids. :) Actually, I share my gill "technique" in a new book by Lark Books, called "Scrap-Happy Felt". It will be out in October.

K - thanks for the awesome compliment!

    knittinginatree - Thanks!
