My big helper has stitched her first (and second, and third) stones.
Just like everything lately, she's done it all by herself, only reluctantly allowing me to help with threading her needle.
Clearly she's a natural. A grubby-handed natural.
I'm so proud.
those are wonderful (both yours and hers...)! what a talent, she must be so proud!
ReplyDeletewhy shouldn't you be proud ☺?

So sweet, so talented. A mother a girl. Proud of you.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE this!!!! 8*)
ReplyDeleteWow, is she really that grown up now? Not to sound weird, but I remember when you closed up shop to have her. Nothing makes the passage of time fly by faster than having a child.
ReplyDeleteI'm so very proud of my little niece
ReplyDeleteand very proud of her mama too, who's been instilling the love for all things handmade with love

E's are some of my favourite stones yet. Not that yours aren't amazing! I might have to send her a stone too, just to give those "grubby little" gorgeous hands more stitching to do.

Bless her, there'll be no stopping her now!
ReplyDeleteWhat i think is most important about teaching and sharing a craft with one's children is that it builds bridges to each other that will always be there even when during the teen years, many of the bridges seem to have collapsed!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you will continue to keep us posted as her skills and enthusiasm develop.
