fall leaves in Family Fun

Happy news for me on a Monday, my leaf project from a few autumns ago has been featured in Family Fun magazine.

The new October issue has just hit stands and there is my little rainbow of leaves on page 18.  It's a really cute little magazine.  In thumbing through the pages looking for my contribution I've already spotted 3 different things I want to do with the kids and I haven't even looked through the whole thing yet.

Thanks Family Fun, for having me!

And happy Monday to you all.

  2. Our Family Fun mag arrived last week. I spotted your contribution right off! My mom and I were looking through it together and I said "Hey! I know that picture! I know that lady" and my mom asked "You do?" with funny raised eyebrows and I said "Yes! Well, sorta, kinda... well, yes, I read her blog. So yes, I think if I ever met her in real life I'd know at least some of her and I'd like her." So that's it then, my "friend" was in Family Fun. Congratulations!

  11. Found your blog courtesy of the Family Fun article. The picture they showed reminded me of some piles of rocks I saw while I was at Afton State Park this summer.
