The blues

Can you tell how I'm feeling today?

It's a chilly, overcast day here. I'm low on sleep, feeling a bit out of sorts, and well, a little blue. Painting usually helps me feel better, but the toddlers are so busy that it's not practical for me to spend any time with that pursuit. I think I'll go sew a few hearts. That will help.

Love the second one! The texture and color shifts are gorgeous. Great find!

Oooh Lisa, I'm sorry you're feeling blue ... sure the change of the season has its part in the whole thing. We women do so many things at the same time, all the time, and never get enough rest for all we do. Please do take time to pamper yourself or to get yourself a treat, OK ??! Doctor Sonia's orders ! ;-)
Boy I didn't know you painted AS WELL !! Gosh you are so multi-talented !! I'm admirative ! :)
Sending you my most positive vibes. I hope you feel better ASAP. Many hugs OXOXO

Thanks Brittany! That second one was a small piece I did interpreting being under the waves, one of my favorite things.

Dr. Sonia - you are so sweet! Thank you for the positive vibes. If my toddlers would just sleep through the night, that would be all the pampering I would need.

Yes, I love to paint, I'm just not able to do it with the wee boys running around. I stick to more portable pursuits. When they're bigger perhaps I'll get to play with paint again. :D

Hi Lisa,
I just found your photos on flickr last night, kind of stumbled on it because I was doing a search for button crafts. I stayed up until midnight looking at all your stuff. You are amazing. Can I be you for a day? (not today if you're feeling blue :') But seriously, You are so talented and interesting. I love your photography and your crafts and your gardening and your thriftiness. Take good care of yourself, be inspired, and keep posting. Laurie

QV - I don't know how you did it, but my boys slept through the night last night!! Wow, what a difference. I feel like a new woman. I hope yours gave you a break too.
