Featuring...

I am so incredibly flattered to be the featured seller on Etsy today. When I got the news I giggled the entire day. This is a big thing, I'm not generally a giggler. A smirker, sure, but not so much a giggler.

I've been working hard for the past few weeks to get some items made for the shop while keeping up with life and keeping my feature a secret. Not easy, on both counts. I'm excited the big day is here though and want to thank everyone for putting up with busy self during this time.

I'm a huge fan of Etsy, of its community, and of the handmade ideal. If you're not familiar with Etsy, please go check it out and support the thousands of people trying to carve out their creative niche in the world.

I loved your featured seller interview! So funny, I too take photos of moss & lichen. I just bought my first vintage wooden bowl on Ebay. How funny....but not surprising.

Hi,
Congrats with your Featuring, and that you're having a babygirl!
The boys will be thrilled, I guess!

After reading the interview I wanted to let you know that Ravelry is a great place for all knitters, spinners and crocheters.
www.ravelry.com, signing up is free, and a world of patterns, ideas, yarn and forums will come to you!

My username is Ballee overthere (just as on Etsy).

Probably you've heard of Ravelry before, but just in case..
Have a great decembermonth!

Lisa,
Although I've visited before, today I came via Etsy! I was so excited to see you up as the featured seller and I loved your interview sooooo much! It was definitely one of my favorites so far. I really felt like I could identify with your lifestyle in the country. You sound like such a beautiful mother, and I'm so inspired by your process. Oh, how I wish we could be neighbors.
love,
maya
