not quite chaos

Oh sure it might look like chaos around here but I'm not going to call it that.
I might be a plate-spinner.
It might just be the season.
Whatever the label, things are certainly busy around here.

One of the many projects in th eworks is related to the bowl of natural dyeing you see here.

I'm eager to get this one finished up and show you.  I do so love the experimentation of playing with natural dyes.  All of the colors in this bowl came from only two dyestuffs, both left over from my snacks last week, combined with a little tinkering.  So much fun.

I know where each of these colors came from and though it may look like chaos, it's not quite.
Much to do, much to do.  I'd better get to it.

Have a good and non-chaotic start to the week.

I think it's the season lol. But hope the chaos is well contained or at least "well organized" chaos.

I can hear that 'plate spinner' music in my head. Thanks for that - it may just help me with my own plates today, girlfriend!

I have purposely stayed away from dying in my own works, save for tea bag dying. I promised my husband I wouldn't get involved in another thing. Your plate of yummy dyed fabric makes me think otherwise. Can't wait to see what comes of it all!

Gotta love that bowl with those wonderful colours! - Chaos?? What chaos?! No, it's just creativity and making things from scratch.
One of my girls had a friend visiting yesterday. She looked up at me with big eyes and asked if it was always this messy in our house. I told her that's exactly how it looks when you make things from scratch. Later I heard her tell my daugter, that 'your mother certainly makes a whole lot of things from scratch.' Oh, yes. It's just a matter if expressing it right ;)

It's a pleasure to see these beautiful colors and knowing that they come from nature is amazing!
