a card giveaway

It's fun at this time of year to open the mailbox and find handwritten holiday greetings from friends.  I was thinking how nice it would be if I could, myself, send more handwritten notes out throughout the year.  Email is nice, but there's just something about an out-of-the-blue letter to hold in your hand, isn't there?

So with that thought in my head, let's have a little giveaway, shall we?

Here's what you need to do...go to my shop and look at my card sets and come back here and leave me a comment telling me which is your favorite.

This giveaway is now closed.
I'll draw 2 names on Monday evening (Dec. 16th, 2013) and the winners will get a set of cards of their choice.

Thank you, everyone, and good luck!

My absolute favorite set is GATHERINGS OF STONES!!

I know, I can hear you groaning!! You know I love them all! That is why I chose a card from each set to hold me over while I save for all 4 sets...maybe then I can share!! 8*)

All wonderful but I think my favorite is.....the acorns!!!

I love colors! Your color and texture set is awesome!

They are all lovely...so it was a tough choice! My two favorites are Natural Musings and Gathering of Stones.
By the way, I have so enjoyed discovering your work! I am an artist myself...and a lover of mushroom hunting and the woods. I am interested in needle felting and was wondering if you could supply or direct me to some of the mist useful quality tools necessary to get started..or a favorite website or source for the tight wool and wire, etc.?

Margaret said...

I love the stones, so the gathering of stones is my favorite (but I do love those acorns, too). And look, I am just noticing your acorn mushroom tutorial--thank you!

binimgarten said...

The cards I love most are these with acorns, acorns in the circle, acorns on the tree-trunk and so on! Tahnk you for the chance to win a set!

kelly said...

Oh, I misread the post! Two winners , one favorite! Well...I must amend my previous post. This is tougher than I though. I guess I will choose Natural Musings for the variety then.

I love the Gathering of Stones. I am a collector of stones. Many are inside the house, many are outside. They are all special and beautiful. It would be an honor to win a set of your cards!

Oh such a difficult task to pick a favorite but I'm particularly drawn to the Drifted card, the one with the white stones in the wooden bowl. This give away is such a kind thing for you to do, thank you.

It took me a while to choose a favorite since all of these are very beautiful. But "Mossy Log Gradient" from this set http://lilfishstudios.bigcartel.com/product/single-greeting-card-from-natural-rainbows-set gives me such peaceful and happy feelings that I'll have to choose that one. :)

I guess I would pick the gathering of stones set, but to be honest, you could just pick one and surprise me and I would be thrilled. Thanks for sharing. You are right, there is nothing like getting real mail. The older I get, the more I appreciate it.

Lisa all of your images are lovely to look at - "Mossy Log Gradient" is a rainbow of joy, but if I had to choose one it would be "Drifted" - it's winter after all and Christmas is close and snow is forecast for us this coming week!

The card, Stitched, from Gathering of the Stones, features three stones that I own. I'd enjoy sending that one to my friends.

Hello Lisa, your works are so beautiful, it's hard to pick one...I love natural Musings because of the mushrooms, many years ago I purchased a felt ladybug talking to a mushroom and I always smile when I look at it, these cards remind me of that!

Now that is a very difficult job, only picking a favorite. They are each so delightful! Gatherings of Stones Set and Natural Rainbows Set are exciting and are my favorites. Thank you for such a generous giveaway and some people are going to be thrilled on Monday! Blessings

Hi Lisa- so hard to pick a favorite! It is awesome to have your projects printed into cards-we cant all be lucky enough to purchase your work-but we can have the cards to be inspired by! I love looking at your photos-if i won I would frame them and put them up in my studio. The color and texture ones are my favorite because you mix color and texture so beautifuly! I hope you are feeling better today! Thanks for the chance to win!

Unknown said...

Gathering of Stones, definitely.

Your stones are your signature and the arrangements are cohesive and visually interesting. All of your work is perfection, but this is my favorite.

Happy holidays to you and yours!

redwitch said...

Without a doubt, the tiny toadstools in acorns are my absolute favourites! I love your cards - they capture such a spirit of nature.
Hope that you are feeling a little better today :)

I have always loved to send and receive mail, and all the accoutrements that go with it. Your cards are beautiful; my favorite is the one pictured in this post – Natural Rainbows. Thank-you for the giveaway!

Tina said...

They are each inspiring in their own way. My personal favorite is "Acorn Rainbow" in the Natural Rainbows set. My mom once wrote a poem that thanked God for the technicolor touch. She wrote that God could have made it all in black and white and we would never have known the difference. This is what your cards remind me of - how lucky we are to live in such a colorful wonderland. Thanks!

Rebecca said...

I love all of your cards but in particular the color and texture set. Beautiful!

Lisa said...

Gathering of stones is my favorite set but Bug Bitten' - a river of stones against a bug-chewed log is my favorite card. They are all beautiful! I love your work! Crossed fingers on this giveaway!

RaeRaggs said...

One of my favorites has always been 'Mossy Log Gradient'. Maybe you should consider turning some of the cards that sell well into prints to hang on the wall. Your photography is beautiful and so happy.

RattleFox said...

I love them all, but gathering of stones won my heart.

Unknown said...

Oooo I would pick the Gathering of Stones. So pretty :D

I was really drawn to the color and texture series, so much to look at and pleasing to the eye.

Paige said...

I love "close-up"- how it shows the texture of the work you do. But in truth, I love them all. I love the fact that they are so natural looking with lots of color, warmth and movement. Like I could reach out and actually feel them. So, Bug bitten, Jungle and Rock garden are all up there as is the Pin one. Just pure beauty and delight ! Thank you for sharing your art with us.

Marilee said...

As I love acorns, I'll pick the rainbow set, and I especially like that your pix of the threads wound around your "bobbins," are included in this. However, I love everything you do, Lisa.

Hi Lisa,

It's difficult to choose one photo.

Two photos really speak to me-- the collection of colorfully stitched rocks (gathering stones set) and the clothespins wrapped in beautiful colors screaming out "pick me, pick me!" (natural rainbows set).

Great work.
