Heart-Felt Holidays: 40 Festive Felt Projects to Celebrate the Seasons
The name says it all! I'm so excited to have been a small part of this book by the wonderful folks at Lark. I've worked with them before and it's always such a pleasure. This one is chock-full of cute projects (bowling elves? love it!) for Valentine's Day, Father's Day, Martin Luther King Day...they're all covered.
The book is arranged so that it starts with New Year's and ends with Kwanzaa (with Birthdays and Baby Showers too!). There's a great variety of projects included and since working with felt is so fun (and forgiving) it should keep you busy and full of handmade happiness throughout the year.
I have contributed four projects to this book to celebrate Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, and Teacher's Appreciation Day. All of my projects work with felted garment wool, but they'd work just fine with regular sheet felt too.
And because they're awesome, Lark has given me an extra copy of the book to share.
This giveaway is now closed.
Just in case you're not feeling lucky, you can always buy your own copy. It's under $10 on Amazon! A steal! Steal I say!
Good luck, everyone.

I love "creepy cute" decorations for Halloween. I'd like to make some cute little bats to hang.
I like to craft for Christmas. It's fun because there are so many supplies out that time of year. You can use traditional and non traditional themes and colors.

Looks great! I love sewing with felt. Thank you for the chance.
I like crafting for the autumn equinox. There's nothing like fall leaves and acorns to inspire craftiness. (:

Congrats! I love to craft in all seasons. But we don't have many summer creations. Summer time crafting would be fun.
Thanks!

I love crafting for Halloween and Thanksgiving because I love fall crafts! But really I love crafting for all the seasons!
Well, it would have to be Halloween, my favorite holiday! I see you now have the evil double word "test." I have never been able to make one of those work. We'll see.....sigh.
I love everything spring! Bunnies, eggs, flowers, all the sweet sweet bright and soft pastel colors. Everything coming to life...even felt can come to life!
Wonderful give-away! :)
Nicole from Willowfolk on Etsy.
The book looks great! I'd love to win a copy. And i really enjoy your blog :)
Somehow the colours of autumn seem to work well in felt, so more than anything else I find myself crafting in the fall.
Looks very promising :) I love the look of the cake on the cover! I would make it for my daughters birthday, so she can use it for one of her garden tea parties.
Fall is my favorite season to craft for. The bounty of colors, acorns, pumpkins, gourds... They really get my creative juices going. So does Christmas.
Thank you so much for this generous give-away.

Hello, dear!
My name is Constante and I’m from Chile, a long long country in South America!
I’m really gladon writting a comment on your blog. It’s marvelous! I love how you introduce natural in all your projects, it feels so warm only watching the potos and your kids enjoy it, too! ♥
I feel all Autumn as a perfect season to work. With the trees showing branches and the coloured leafs, the wind, the fluffly clouds in the sky and the weather changing…! A cup of warm tea, a little more sheltered…! Actually in my country is Autumn and today is raining! I awake with the sound of the little drops in my window.
If a had the oportunity to win I will really happy and exicet! I’m 22 years old and yesterday I knew… I’m pregnant! I feel very blessed… and I imagine all the cute things I could possibly make for her/him. But if I don’t win, thank you so much for readding my comment.

Always fun to try winning one first...I craft most for Christmas though I occasionally pick up a birthday. With a little one coming, though, I wouldn't mind starting a Teacher Gift Idea Library. = )
Well, I like crafting through the year to mark the seasons and rhythms of the year. But it is very fun to make witches and ghosts for Halloween. Karen Traversy, Bridgit's Bell, karentraversy@comcast.net

My favorite holiday is Halloween/Samhain. Felt helps make it an even more magical and whimsical time!
We think summertime... Sunshine, sandcastles, picnics in dappled shade, bees and beauty all around!
Thank you for sharing.
I don't know that we celebrate themes and holidays here in Australia as much as our U.S. friends, but my all time favourite crafty time of year has to be Christmas!
Thanks for the giveaway, the book looks really cute!
I love to create for Easter. It's a great time to bring out the pastels and the cute little chicks and bunnies and the like. Although I love all holidays (especially Christmas), there is just something about Easter .....

I love working with wool in any form! this looks great!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Beautiful contributions, Lisa! Impeccable work, as always. Thanks for running a giveaway.
I was just thinking, as we're still technically within the festival of Easter (it goes on for 50 days or so!) that eggs are such a beautiful shape to play with. I'd definitely like to make some of those.
birthday celebrations are the sweetest time for craft - i love crafting a wee gift for the birthday child! congratulations on a beautiful book!
I always love to craft during the Easter season. My mom kept the house i grew up in full of springtime pastels and lots of bunnies and butterflies for us kids. I still feel like a 5 year old this time of year and get super creative because of it!
I like to craft for all holidays, but my very favourite just passed: Easter. My kids also start to help a lot with the holiday crafting and it would be great to get a new book of ideas. AND, felt is my favourite material to work with.
I love to craft for all of the holidays but I think that I probably craft the most at Christmas!!! So many wonderful things to do for Christmas!!!
I've been trying to craft something with my kids or for my kids and home for every season... but I seem to not have many ideas for Summertime for some reason. Thanks for the chance!
Spring is the most fun for us. It's still too cold to go outside, but our anticipation is so great we need to do something. Thanks so much for the chance, this book looks wonderful!
Halloween & Christmas, but I do love all the holidays and seasons!
With school letting out and a 6 year old to keep busy, I like all holiday crafts. Last summer we made Christmas, Halloween, spring and anything else we could think up. So, I would love this book, he told me already he wants to learn to sew this summer, so handsewing would be wonderful to start. Your little items are just beautiful. I would be honored to win. Thank you for the giveaway. I am also going to follow you to see what else you might make.
I love Fall but it always gets snubbed by me because I am frantically trying to finish Christmas gifts!! So, I think fall is a great time for crafting! Colorful leaves and the feeling of thanksgiving! 8*)
I love to craft for fall and Halloween. My fabric of choice is wool and it always lends itself to that season!
It's gotta be Autumn! The colors, that harvest moon, chilly mornings...ah! A time of turning in and a time to create.
